VIDEO: Blackhawks' Carcillo opens up about Steve Montador, addiction and mental health

Daniel Carcillo has a reputation of being a hard-nosed individual and gets a lot of flack for his rough-and-tumble style of play.
The Chicago Blackhawks forward is also a human being with genuine emotions that were put on full display in a recent story for The Players' Tribune.
The story includes an emotional video in which the forward discusses his relationship with former teammate Steve Montador, who passed away on Feb. 15, as well as his addiction to pain pills and the stress hockey can have on a person.
Carcillo appeared in 39 games for the Blackhawks in the regular season, but has yet to appear in the playoffs as he recovers from an upper-body injury.
