Evgeny Kuznetsov ended the season of the New York Islanders on Monday and made history in the process.
Kuznetsov became the first rookie in Washington Capitals history to score a series-clinching goal in a Game 7.
The 22-year-old scored a dandy goal to give his team the win, helping them advance to the second round of the postseason.
The winner was the forward's third goal of the series. He also added 11 in the regular season.
