David Desharnais not traveling on Canadiens' charter to Tampa Bay

David Desharnais will remain in quarantine. 

The shifty Montreal Canadiens pivot will not be on the charter to Florida on Monday in preparation for Game 3 versus the Tampa Bay Lightning as he continues to battle an illness, the team announced.

Desharnais was announced as a scratch just prior to puck drop of Sunday's 6-2 loss. 

With an extra day between starts, Desharnais has an extra day to rest and potentially book travel plans before Wednesday's game.
