The Bishop is stepping down.
Ben Bishop, that is, after the Tampa Bay Lightning goalie allowed a soft goal early in the second period of Thursday's Game 4 against the Montreal Canadiens.
David Desharnais did the damage to give Montreal a 3-0 lead, and in came Andrei Vasilevskiy to make his NHL playoff debut.
Overall, Bishop allowed three goals on 14 shots in just over 25 minutes of play.
