Analysis:
Gleason dealt with an undisclosed injury earlier in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and while he's yet to miss a game in the series, he was limited to just 8:10 of ice time in Sunday's Game 6 loss. The Capitals then recalled Nate Schmidt from AHL Hershey on an emergency basis, but it now appears Gleason will likely play in Wednesday's Game 7 against the Rangers. He logged 12-to-15 minutes of ice time in each of the series' first five games.
