Regin signed a one-year contract with Jokerit of the KHL on Monday, the Rockford Register Star reports.
Analysis:
Regin will continue to play for AHL Rockford through the end of their playoff run, but he'll play next season in Europe in what will probably represent a step up in the quality of competition. The 29-year-old is still hopeful of eventually regaining a regular role in the NHL, where he's accrued 243 career games, including four for the Blackhawks earlier in 2014-15.
