Bishop to Subban after clinching series: 'Thank goodness for my lucky horseshoe'
The Montreal Canadiens' season is over, and with it, the steady barrage of P.K. Subban quotes.
Maybe Ben Bishop can take over.
The Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender - who stopped 18 of 19 shots for the win on Tuesday - was chided by Subban after being pulled from Game 4.
"I think Bishop sort of was sitting on a horseshoe for a little bit there. He’s played well, but he’s been lucky, as well," said the charismatic defenseman.
Bishop, though, got the last laugh after Game 6's series-clinching 4-1 victory, and added salt to the wound with a jab at Subban.
"Thank goodness for my lucky horseshoe," he told reporters.
