Despite his team's 3-0 loss to the United States in the bronze medal game, Czech Republic forward Jaromir Jagr was named MVP of the World Championship.
Jagr finished with six goals and nine points in 10 games. His six goals were good enough for fourth among all players in the tournament.
The Florida Panthers star finished a point behind Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek for top spot on the national team.
Following the Czech loss, Jagr announced his retirement from international play.
