Ted Nolan may not have to wait long to find a new head coaching gig.
The former Buffalo Sabres coach is in talks with the WHL's Vancouver Giants, reports Steve Ewen of The Province.
An NHL source says Nolan is interested in the position with the Giants, who finished last in the WHL's B.C. division.
Nolan is familiar with coaching the junior ranks, having manned the bench of the QMJHL's Moncton Wildcats in 2005-06.
The Giants began last season with Troy Ward as coach, who was eventually replaced by Claude Noel.
Nolan could reportedly receive a salary in the range of $100,000.
