Maple Leafs sign Sam Carrick to 1-year deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Sam Carrick to a one-year contract.
Carrick, 23, spent the majority of the 2014-15 season with the Toronto Marlies, appearing in 59 games while scoring nine goals and adding 18 assists.
He did play in 16 games for the Maple Leafs, scoring his first-career goal against the Florida Panthers on March 26.
