At the age of 38, defenseman Marek Zidlicky still isn't ready to hang up the skates.
The Detroit Red Wings blue-liner is coming off his 11th NHL season, and he's hoping to be back for a 12th.
Zidlicky's agent, Allan Walsh, tweeted Monday that he'd spoken to his client over the weekend and Zidlicky "is 100 percent committed to playing in the NHL next season."
Zidlicky is an unrestricted free agent this summer.
He had 34 points in 84 games during the regular season, split between the New Jersey Devils and the Red Wings.
