Victor Hedman and Ryan Callahan combined to slice through the Chicago Blackhawks with two pinpoint plays early in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Hedman collected the puck below the Tampa Bay Lightning's goal line before firing a long lead pass to Callahan at Chicago's blue line. Callahan entered the zone and blasted a slap shot from the top of the right faceoff circle past the glove of Corey Crawford to put Tampa Bay up 1-0.
Callahan contributed two assists in Game 2 and has four points (two goals, two assists) in five games after being limited to three assists in 17 previous playoff contests.
The Lightning have scored the first goal in each of the first three games of the series.
