Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price won the Vezina Trophy as the league's best netminder at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.
Price recorded a franchise-record 44 wins along with a 1.96 goals-against average and .933 save percentage. He led the league in all three categories, becoming the first netminder to do so since Ed Belfour in 1990-91.
Price also earned a career-high nine shutouts - one shy of tying Ken Dryden for another Canadiens record.
