Kevin Bieksa may be on the move.
It was reported Thursday the Vancouver Canucks defenseman was asked by his team if he would waive his no-trade clause, which led to interest from the San Jose Sharks.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports that Bieksa would waive his no-trade clause to move to sunny California and play at the Shark Tank.
No deal is complete as of yet.
Bieksa, 34, earned 14 points and 77 penalty minutes in 60 games for the Canucks last season.
He's set to earn $2.5 million next season, but comes with a cap hit of $4.6 million.
