Trades are a common part of professional sports, but some fans just can't accept the thought of the athletes they root for playing on another team.
A 5-year-old St. Louis Blues fan was reduced to tears Thursday upon learning her favorite player - T.J. Oshie - was traded to the Washington Capitals. Her mother was kind enough to record the meltdown, which works as an adorable reminder of what the business side of sports looks like through innocent eyes.
Chin up, kid. Troy Brouwer might not be able to inspire the same kind of fandom, but the Blues should soon have electrifying offensive talent Vladimir Tarasenko signed to a contract extension. A few more highlight-reel goals from him and the name Oshie will be a distant memory.
