Nicklas Lidstrom's sons attend Red Wings' development camp
The Lidstrom name may once again don the red and white.
The sons of Detroit Red Wings great Nicklas Lidstrom are attending the team's development camp this weekend.
His youngest son Adam is a 19-year-old forward for Vasteras of the SuperElit league, while Kevin, 21, is a defenseman for Enkopings of the third-tier Hockeyettan.
One would think the boys might have a leg up on others at the camp, but despite having one of the league's greatest defensemen as a mentor, Adam describes his father as pretty quiet around the rink.
"He's kind of quiet, he just sits and watches the game," Adam told Ted Kulfan of the Detroit News. "He'll say a couple of things after the game to think about."
It will be difficult for the younger Lidstroms to live up their father's resume, as the elder Lidstrom is among the 2015 class of Hockey Hall of Fame inductees.
