As a veteran of four minor professional leagues before having the opportunity to put on the pads for his hometown club, Scott Darling was never supposed to have his name on the Stanley Cup.

So he had the Chicago Blackhawks' latest Stanley Cup championship etched on his arm for good measure.

And Darling wasn't just along for the ride, either. Chicago would have been hard-pressed to escape its first-round series versus the Nashville Predators without his stellar .936 save percentage in five spot appearances.
