Lindsay Lohan's cousin invited to Capitals development camp
There's a familiar surname at the Washington Capitals' development camp.
Kevin Lohan, a defenseman from the University of Michigan, is one of 18 free-agent invitees to the NHL club's annual prospect showcase.
He's also Lindsay Lohan's cousin.
“We’re family, but I usually don’t say much about it,” Lohan told Chris Gordon of Russian Machine Never Breaks. “You can only control what you can control. You can’t control others."
The 21-year-old led the Wolverines with 59 blocked shots in 37 games. He said he isn't as close as he used to be with his famous – or infamous – relative.
“To be honest I haven’t seen her in a while," he said. "We used to be close when we were younger. Everyone went their separate ways.”
Kevin, who is listed at 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, isn't known as a strong two-way blue-liner, but he plays a steady defensive game.
“I’m still raw, but if I keep working hard, one day I can hopefully get to the next level," he said.
