The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Dominik Simon to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Simon was selected in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Draft after scoring 18 goals and adding 12 assists in 58 games for Plzen HC in the Czech Republic last season.

The 20-year-old was also privileged enough to be the youngest player on the Czech squad at the 2015 World Championships where he played on a line with Jaromir Jagr, scoring six points in 10 games.
