Lightning sign Tye McGinn to 1-year, 2-way contract

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Tye McGinn to a one-year, two-way deal.

McGinn registered five points in 33 games with the San Jose Sharks before being claimed on waivers by the Arizona Coyotes, for whom he scored one goal and added one assist in 18 contests.

The 24-year-old was a fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010.
