Report: Bruins talking with free-agent defenseman Marek Zidlicky

The Boston Bruins are cornering the market on leftover defensemen.
In addition to tabling discussion with Cody Franson, Bruins general manager Don Sweeney is also talking with right-handed power play facilitator Marek Zidlicky, reports TVA's Renaud Lavoie.
While his pace continues to decline, Zidlicky could provide cheap production (much cheaper than Franson) in a sheltered, bottom-pairing capacity.
Zidlicky tallied 34 points in 84 games between the New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings last season.
