Former NHL pugilist Cam Janssen will play in England next season after the 31-year-old signed with the Nottingham Panthers of the Elite Ice Hockey League on Saturday.

Janssen registered two points and racked up 81 penalty minutes for the AHL's Albany Devils in 2014-15. He scored three goals in 24 contests for the New Jersey Devils two seasons ago.

Janssen played four seasons with the St. Louis Blues between a pair of stints with the Devils, spending parts of 11 campaigns in the NHL.

The 2015-16 Nottingham roster features several former NHLers in Janssen, Theo Peckham, Juraj Kolnik, and Brad Moran, along with 2007 first-round pick Logan MacMillan.
