PHOTO: Sabres' Kane wins back model girlfriend with billboard in L.A.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a billboard is worth a second chance.

Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane recently took out a billboard on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles with a photo of his then-ex-girlfriend, model Mara Teigen, in the hopes of winning her back.

TMZ was able to catch up with Teigen on the streets of L.A. recently, where she noted that the sweet gesture had indeed won her over and that the two are now patching things up.

The Sabres are hoping Kane can be just as smooth on the ice this season.
