Flyers sign Philippe Myers to entry-level contract

The Philadelphia Flyers signed undrafted defenseman Philippe Myers to an entry-level contract, general manager Ron Hextall announced Monday.
The 18-year-old is a member of the QMJHL's Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, for whom he recorded two goals and 10 assists in 108 career games.
Myers was attending Flyers training camp on an amateur tryout and will serve to boost the club's organizational depth on the blue line.
