Francis Bouillon officially hung up his skates.
The veteran defenseman announced his retirement from professional hockey after a 15-year career, 11 of which were spent patrolling the Montreal Canadiens' blue line.
Undrafted, Bouillon appeared in 776 career games with the Canadiens and Nashville Predators, amassing 32 goals, 117 assists, and 536 minutes in penalties.
While playing in Montreal, Bouillon was awarded the Jacques Beauchamp Molson Trophy (2003-04) as the club's unsung hero. He was also the recipient of the Jean Beliveau Award (2006-07) for his involvement in the community.
Bouillon spent the 2014-15 playing for Ambri-Piotta in the Swiss League.
