Silfverberg 'grateful' for Torres' apology after headshot

Jakob Silfverberg is feeling better.
The Anaheim Ducks winger is on the mend after being the recipient of a Raffi Torres headshot, which resulted in the San Jose Sharks forward being suspended 41 games, and appreciates Torres' apology.
"It's nice of (Torres) to apologize. I'm grateful for that," Silfverberg said, according to the Los Angeles Times' Helene Elliott. "But I think it was a bad hit and I'm just leaving it at that."
Silfverberg, who will turn 25 on Oct. 13, refused to comment on the length of the suspension.
"I kind of leave that to the professionals," he said. "It's tough for me to say. You've got to believe that they know what they're doing. I don't know if it's good or bad but you've just got to trust them."
The Ducks are expected to have Silfverberg in the lineup Saturday when they open their season in San Jose. He skated on the second line's right wing with Ryan Kesler and Andrew Cogliano at Saturday's morning skate, Elliott adds.
