The San Jose Sharks are keeping their fingers crossed.
Forward Logan Couture had to be helped off the ice by teammates Brent Burns and Brenden Dillon after reportedly suffering a lower-body injury near the end of practice Thursday, according to Kevin Kurz of CSNBayArea.com.
Couture reportedly went down while participating in a 5-on-5 drill.
Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said the 26-year-old is currently being evaluated.
Couture was seen leaving the Prudential Center in a boot and crutches.
The Sharks are in New Jersey where they'll face the Devils on Friday.
