Colorado Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie will have a hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Saturday to address his high hit on Anaheim Ducks counterpart Simon Despres on Friday night.
Barrie appeared to leave his feet just slightly before nailing the unsuspecting Despres, who's head was the principal point of contact.
Despres will not be available for Anaheim on Sunday when they face the Minnesota Wild.
