Cam Neely wants his head coach to approach this season like any other.
Claude Julien was left hanging by the Boston Bruins after they hired Don Sweeney this summer, as the new general manager took some time to consider what was best for the team moving forward.
Ultimately, it was decided Julien would return for his ninth season behind the bench. Team president Cam Neely said it's not fair to suggest Julien's job will be in jeopardy should the team get off to a slow start.
Neely said he's seen talk that 'Claude may be on the hot seat' entering season; "I don't think that's fair...I think it's unfair to Claude"

In 662 regular-season games as Bruins head coach, Julien posted a record of 351-192-79, with 57 playoff wins, a Stanley Cup, and another Eastern Conference championship to his name.
The Bruins struggled through injury issues and other inconsistencies last season, falling short of a playoff spot by two points.
Julien will roll out a revamped lineup this season, with added firepower up front and questions up and down the blue line.
For the time being, he appears to have the support of the front office.
