GIF: Komarov sends Subban into boards from behind on dangerous hit

Toronto Maple Leafs agitator Leo Komarov plays on the edge. He may have crossed it in the first game of the season.
Komarov sent Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban into the boards from behind in the first period Wednesday, and the Leafs forward may be on the phone with the Department of Player Safety on Thursday.
Subban was favoring his knee afterward, testing it by skating during stoppages in play. He remained in the game.
Subban's teammate Devante Smith-Pelly was quick to step up to Komarov - who received a two-minute boarding minor on the play - once he saw Subban was down and in pain, and picked up a penalty of his own for retaliating.
