Vancouver Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom will miss at least one more week with a hamstring injury, the team announced Thursday.
Richard Bachman was recalled from Utica of the American Hockey League to back up Ryan Miller in Wednesday's season-opening win over the Calgary Flames.
He figures to be with the club until Markstrom undergoes further evaluation next week.
