McKenzie suffered a lower-body injury in last Thursday's game against Tampa Bay that reportedly left him in "excruciating pain." He ultimately landed in the hospital to receive additional treatment for the ailment. Given his recovery timetable, the 24-year-old forward will likely be held out of action until, at the very least, Nov. 6 against the Hurricanes.
