Sabres' Kane out 4-6 weeks with MCL injury

Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane will miss four-to-six weeks with an MCL injury, head coach Dan Bylsma announced Monday.
Kane left Saturday's game against the New Jersey Devils after receiving a hit from David Schlemko.
Acquired last season from the Winnipeg Jets, Kane made his regular-season debut with the Sabres on Oct. 8 after missing the last few months of the 2014-15 campaign with a shoulder ailment.
Since entering the league in 2009, injuries have barred Kane from playing more than 74 games in a season.
He recorded a goal and two assists in eight games prior to suffering the setback.
