New York Rangers forward Rick Nash could miss Friday's game against the Colorado Avalanche after sustaining a minor back injury in practice.
He twisted his back during a shooting drill and is day to day, Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault said Thursday.
"I just couldn't move out there," Nash said after practice. "We'll see how it feels in the morning."
Emerson Etem would likely draw in if Nash is unable to play.
The 31-year-old winger has one goal and five assists in 12 games. He notched 42 goals and 69 points last season.
