Ovechkin matches Fedorov as top Russian goal-scorer, denied record-breaker

Is there any doubt where Alex Ovechkin will reside when his hockey career is over?

Incredibly, the Washington Capitals sniper needed 476 fewer games than Fedorov did to reach the mark.
With a little under three minutes left in the game, Ovechkin appeared to have the record-breaking goal with an expert backhand in front, but Leafs coach Mike Babcock successfully contended via coach's challenge that Justin Williams had interfered with James Reimer.
