Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak "has a small, non-displaced crack in his foot," and there's no timetable for his return, general manager Don Sweeney said Wednesday.
The 19-year-old has two goals and two assists in 10 games this season, but he hasn't played since Oct. 31.
In addition, defenseman Torrey Krug was absent from practice for the second straight day with what was deemed another maintenance day.
The 24-year-old is tied for the team lead with 10 assists in 14 games.
The Bruins will host the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday.
