Hammond injured at Senators practice
Ottawa Senators goaltender Andrew Hammond suffered an undisclosed injury in practice Sunday, the club announced.
Matt O'Connor has been recalled from the AHL on an emergency basis.
Hammond is 2-0-2 this season with a .930 save percentage. He's remarkably lost only one game in 27 starts over the past two seasons, stopping 809 of 864 shots.
O'Connor - a product of Boston University - has struggled with the Baby Sens in Binghamton. He has an .859 save percentage in six winless games.
Ottawa's in action Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, so expect to see Craig Anderson and his .912 save percentage between the pipes
