Canucks' Burrows returned to Vancouver to attend birth of child

Canucks forward Alex Burrows returned to Vancouver on the eve of Monday's game versus the Montreal Canadiens to attend the birth of his third child.

Head coach Willie Desjardins previously informed reporters Burrows had returned to Vancouver, but didn't provide a reason for his departure amid the team's seven-game road trip.
Burrows' availability for Wednesday's game in Winnipeg remains uncertain.
