Bruins claim Ferraro off waivers from Red Wings
The Boston Bruins claimed forward Landon Ferraro off waivers from the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday, the team announced. In a corresponding move, the team placed defenseman Kevan Miller on the injured reserve.
The Red Wings were looking to send Ferraro to their AHL affiliate in Grand Rapids as he was close to being medically cleared after suffering a knee injury Nov. 6 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It's unknown if the former second-round pick will suit up for the Bruins when they face the Maple Leafs on Monday, but he may get a chance to debut in front of some familiar company.
I don't know if Landon Ferraro will play for BOS in TOR on Monday but I do know @rayferrarotsn is doing the game for @TSNHockey.

The 24-year-old is pointless in 10 games this season.
