Senators recall Greening, Driedger from AHL

The Ottawa Senators recalled forward Colin Greening and goalie Chris Driedger from the AHL and sent goalie Matt O'Connor to Binghamton, the team announced Monday.
Greening has disappointed with only 18 points in 102 games since penning a three-year extension in 2013 worth $2.65 million annually. As Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun notes, the team will hope he can produce quickly with his deal expiring at season's end. He has nine points in 16 AHL games this season.
Driedger has a 5-5-0 record in Binghamton. The 21-year-old was a third-round pick in the 2012 draft and will replace O'Connor as back-up to Craig Anderson, as Andrew Hammond's recovery from a head injury has stalled.
