Philadelphia Flyers forward Sam Gagner left the game and did not return after smacking his face on the ice against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.
The Incident occurred when Gagner took a hit from Hurricanes forward Brad Malone, which left him bloody after his face hit the ice.
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare dropped the gloves with Malone shortly after, sticking up for Gagner, who did the same for Scott Laughton against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
