Islanders send Berube to AHL on conditioning stint

New York Islanders goaltender Jean-Francois Berube was sent to the AHL for a conditioning stint Tuesday, reports the team's web site.
Analysis:
The Islanders claimed Berube off waivers just before the season started because Jaroslav Halak was banged up and they needed goaltending insurance. Berube has only played one game for team this season and with both Halak and Thomas Greiss healthy, that is unlikely to change.
