The Edmonton Oilers have placed forward Benoit Pouliot and defenseman Andrew Ference on injured reserve, the club announced Saturday.
In a concurrent move, Ryan Hamilton was recalled from the AHL's Bakersfield Condors on an emergency basis in advance of Sunday's game against Buffalo.
Pouliot missed the past two games with a lower-body injury, while Ference has been limited to six games this season.
Hamilton, 30, has recorded six goals and two assists in 18 AHL games.
