It's a goal the Chicago Blackhawks didn't need, but it's one Brandon Mashinter won't ever forget.
The 27-year-old winger scored his first NHL goal with under 10 seconds remaining in Sunday's game against the Vancouver Canucks, giving Chicago a 4-0 lead they wouldn't relinquish:

It was also Mashinter's first career point. He was held without one in his first 12 games with Chicago this season, and failed to crack the scoresheet in any of his previous 35 career contests.
He spent parts of the last three seasons in the Blackhawks organization, in addition to stints with the San Jose Sharks and New York Rangers over the last six campaigns.
