Boston Bruins forward Zac Rinaldo (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Joe McDonald of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
Rinaldo has played in 26 games for Boston this season, totaling two points and 53 penalty minutes. He will likely be sidelined for at least a week with the injury. The 25-year-old center had been providing depth for Boston's forward lines prior to the injury.
