It's P.K. Subban at P.K. Subban's request. But some folks would like to see the mega-star for the Montreal Canadiens go by a different pronunciation.
ASULF, a French-language group in Quebec, has requested that local language broadcasters pronounce it "Pay-Kah," not "Pee-Kay."
P.K. Subban, being P.K. Subban, has handled the situation perfectly, saying that the French delivery is "kinda sexy, actually."
He added: "Since we're changing the pronunciation of my names and stuff, just start calling me Denzel. Can we throw that one in?"
Don't change a thing, Pee-Kay.
