Blackhawks' Kruger out 4 months after surgery on dislocated wrist

The Chicago Blackhawks will be without forward Marcus Kruger for approximately four months after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated wrist, the team announced Friday.
Kruger left Thursday's win over the Edmonton Oilers with what was then described as an undisclosed injury and was unable to return.
Understandable, considering the update.
The 25-year-old had recorded one assist and 39 shots through 33 games, but was a key contributor in the faceoff circle and on the penalty kill.
Forward Phillip Danault was recalled from the AHL in an attempt to fill the void.
