Colorado Avalanche backup goaltender Reto Berra will need another week and a half to recover from his ankle injury.
Berra will be out for about 10 more days and Calvin Pickard will play against the San Jose Sharks on Monday night, Avalanche head coach Patrick Roy said Saturday.
Pickard was recalled Saturday from the AHL's San Antonio Rampage.
Berra was hurt while playing soccer with his teammates before a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Dec. 21.
Semyon Varlamov will face the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday.
