Burrows missed Canucks game Saturday because of stiff neck

Alex Burrows blames the road.
The Vancouver Canucks winger missed Saturday's game due to a stiff neck, the club announced Sunday, and Burrows said the injury likely stems from all the time spent in hotels recently. The Canucks were on a six-game road trip from Dec. 13 through Dec. 22 before hitting the holiday break.
Burrows expects to be in the lineup Monday when Vancouver hosts the Los Angeles Kings.
Meanwhile, Henrik Sedin didn't practice Sunday. He missed essentially two games on the road trip, and while he played over 20 minutes Saturday, his status for the game against L.A. will be determined Monday.
It's also likely that forward Chris Higgins returns Monday, as well.
