Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand will have a hearing with the league's Department of Player Safety on Wednesday for his hit on Ottawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki.

The hearing will be conducted over the phone, according to Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe.
Marchand flipped Borowiecki with a low hit in the first period of Tuesday's game, which the Bruins won 7-3.
No penalty was called on the play, and Marchand said afterward that he was trying to turn up the ice in pursuit of the puck carrier.
The Bruins winger was suspended for a similar incident involving Vancouver Canucks defenseman Sami Salo in 2012.
